All jewelry is handmade from scrap wood—often the very woods used to make our Deep Creek beds. This includes ash, pine, walnut, sapele, locust, and ipe, just to name a few. I use a technique called “book matching” to cut the wood in ways so that the grain of the earrings mirror one another exactly.
The hardware / hanging wire is either certified hypoallergenic or (at bare minimum) nickel-free silver.
My jewelry is available on Etsy and Marmalade Mercantile.
